TWINE CBD was founded out of necessity, unlike many other brands created to ride the CBD wave. Co-founder, Missy had finally discovered CBD oil, but when it came time to buy CBD oil, the market was a nightmare. Online CBD for sale was confusing and misleading as to purity and safety. Did the CBD for sale contain 100% natural CBD at all or just some variety of “hemp” oil? Was there a difference in CBD oil and hemp oil? What other chemicals were in these products? Smoke shops and mass retailers offered CBD for sale but was this CBD oil legal? It was at this point Missy and friend Angie teamed up to collaborate and research sourcing pure, safe, effective CBD products from USA-grown hemp.
Unique to Missy and Angie’s relationship is the fact that they have worked alongside their husbands who have been in the specialty retail industry for 35+ years. The mission for TWINE CBD became crafting premium quality, thoroughly researched and 3rd party ISO lab-tested CBD products that were 100% THC FREE that would appeal to the retail customer shopping at gift stores and boutiques. The absolute of NO TRACE OF THC was vital because both women knew the customers shopping specialty retail… teachers, doctors, nurses, public officials and the like…could never consider a CBD product that may jeopardize employee drug screens. Sourcing a 3rd party tested and verified THC FREE CBD product was essential to TWINE’s mission.
After almost two years of research, visiting hemp farms and processing facilities across the country, combing through the preliminary, but promising medical research, TWINE CBD was launched. To simplify things, TWINE focuses on the top-selling CBD categories, oils and creams and TWINE’s product line includes 3 concentrations of oil. Angie’s chemistry background helped when formulating TWINE’s CBD oils and CBD creams for easy use.
TWINE all-natural CBD oils and comforting CBD creams were launched in Spring 2019 and TWINE CBD for pets was added in Fall 2019 in response to positive research with CBD for pets.
